Waterproofing of the 100 smock

This smock has been approved in a simulator reproducing the conditions of MODERATE RAIN
– Moderate rain corresponds to a flow of 60 L/m2/h – (rainfall of 60 mm/h) for 2 hours
– Component resistant to water pressure of 2000 mm after aging (= 2000 Schmerber – average pressure exerted by water during a downpour)
– 100% taped seams.

The neck is fastened by zipper only, which can go up over the mouth to shelter the user from wind and spray.

For more waterproofing, less wind entry and greater freedom of movement:
*the belt and cuffs have elasticated sections on both sides

100 smock pocket

The positioning of the pocket is located according to 50N buoyancy vests, to remain accessible during the practice of the sport.

The size of the pocket was designed so as not to be cumbersome or too heavy in order to not hinder maneuvers or movement.

It is designed and tested to have a size that can fit 2 cereal bars. The contents remained stable in the pocket and accessible.
The anorak can be rolled up into its pouch for storage

Main fabric : 100.0% Polyester cationic
Upper part – Main fabric : 100.0% Polyamide

Windproof : Fabric can withstand 2 hours of moderate rain. Fully taped seams.

Waterproof : Breathable fabric to limit condensation.

Easy to use : Fabric counters the wind-chill effect up to 12 mph.

Pockets : Elasticated hood with high zipper neck that follows the movements of the head.

Breathability : 1 side pocket accessible when wearing a buoyancy vest (size of 2 cereal bars)

Quick dry : Water-repellent fabric that dries quickly (water slides off the fabric).
