This boat boot is specially designed for sailing, with a soft upper, reinforced instep and sole designed for a firm grip on smooth and wet surfaces
Our Tribord designers created these boots for adults and kids, for regular sailing
The concept of thermal insulation using neoprene:
By trapping a thin layer of water around the feet, the neoprene boot works in two ways:
1. The trapped water inside the boot gradually warms up
2. Heat transfer from the body decreases.
The boot and thin covering of water form a layer of insulation.
Neoprene is a closed-cell elastomeric foam with trapped nitrogen bubbles that have insulating properties.
The design of the dinghy/catamaran sailing boot is intended for cool and cold weather.
The Tribord neoprene sailing boots are made of 100% neoprene (thickness: 4 mm) to ensure optimal thermal insulation.
All seams are sewn together with strong thread for this particular type of fabric and glued to prevent water getting through the seams.
The unique design of the rubber sole favors water drainage and a firm grip on smooth, wet surfaces.
The extra-supple upper makes the boots easy to slip on and comfortable to wear.
